0800 2 FIX IT is a unique branded trade services franchise
that offers both businesses an householders a range of trade
services to meet their needs.
0800 2 Fix It was formed in 1999 by the then franchisor Ben
& Nicki Ridler as a result of restructuring of a company called
Resin Bond Limited. The core business of Resin Bond Limited
was the repair of motor vehicle windscreens.
The restructuring of the company included several key changes;
- the re-branding of the service to 0800 2 Fix It
- expansion of the services provided to include windscreen
replacements
- a change in the company operations to a franchise system
This change to a franchise system has proved to be a winner, with franchisees of a high calibre buying franchise territories and good projected growth in turnover being exceeded.
In January 2010 Grant Allan and Brent Tinsley bought the business. A new company 0800 2 Fix It (2010) Limited was formed. With more than twenty years combined experience as
either business owners or managers, our objectives are to expand the franchisee network further in New Zealand and refine the franchise system further to include other
complementary products and services to increase both franchisee and franchisor sales and profit.
The 0800 2 Fix It franchise system has been developed using considerable research, trial and error and the implementation of specially devised methods.
The real success of 0800 2 Fix It is primarily due to its commitment to outstanding service to its customers.

Grant Allan
Grant Allan has over 15 years experience as owner and senior executive in both private and public companies.
Grant specialises in sales and marketing strategies that focus on generating growth and profit.
Grant has also consulted to many companies on how to improve business performance and improve profitability and has achieved
considerable success in developing sales and marketing strategies for these businesses that has resulted in differentiating them from their competitors
and achieving improved sales and profits. Grant has a B.Com degree and a Dip Bus Marketing from Auckland University.
Grant lives in Tauranga, New Zealand.
Brent Tinsley
Brent has gained over 14 years experience managing major public and private business operations.
Brent began his management career when, at the age of 21, he attained the Branch Managers role
for a large National company with a focus on Customer Service, operational systems development
and implementation, financial performance and logistical management. These roles included responsibility
for staff and achievement of the business strategy and vision.
With a passion for Property, Investing and helping others succeed; Brent has built successful Property
Investment/Development and Equity Investment companies and has also consulted for a number of
privately owned companies and Charitable Trusts about developing systems and financial strategies.
Brent lives in Hamilton, New Zealand.
